Nicole and Adam are Married!! In a world full of traditions and the way things are typically done, Nicole chose to split up her wedding into not one, but TWO amazing days this past September! I loved that she knew exactly what her and Adam wanted and she made that come to life. Day one at The 8 Chains North Winery in Waterford, VA was the ceremony and a special reception dinner as well as wine tasting with their closest family. Day two was the party of all parties at Provision no. 14 in Washington, DC with all their family and friends. Nicole and Adam wanted their day(s) to be filled with so much love and laughter that they could never even put into words. They wanted to create beautiful memories with their family and friends and that’s exactly what they did!
When I arrived at 8 Chains Winery for the first day of their festivities Nicole was so calm and just happy to be marrying her best friend. The pure joy I could see in Nicole and Adam’s looks for each other that day were simply breathtaking. They had a stunning sunset that dropped right during their vows where they promised to be each other’s best friends for the rest of their lives. During the ceremony they literally “tied the knot”! They took 2 white strands of rope and with the direction of their officiant, together, they tied a fisherman’s knot in the rope- this is a knot that can truly stand the test of time and face hardships head on- just like I know their marriage will. Post ceremony they had a beautiful wine tasting and toasts from their fathers, who both we’re beyond words happy for the two of them. The seated dinner that followed the tasting was full of so many smiles and laughter between their family, it was so beautiful.
The next day they celebrated with all their family and friends at an awesome venue in DC called Provision no. 14. The night was filled with good food, laughter, and lots of dancing. After the wedding they headed off to an amazing honeymoon in the Dominican Republic (so jealous!!). Congrats love birds, so incredibly happy for you both!!
