Every time the year comes to a close we always look back to remember all the beautiful things that made the year wonderful, and for most the biggest thing we remember is always the love we felt. Whether we got engaged, had a baby, got married, or just had a lot of great memories with our family- it always is surrounded by love. The night of Jess and Mike’s engagement shoot was nothing but filled with love and laughter.
This sweet couple and myself all grew up in a small, sleepy town, known as Mount Airy. The high school we went to had no shortage of corn fields on your way there and you pretty much knew everyone in the town. It was so much fun taking time to explore downtown Mount Airy with Jess and Mike for their engagement session. Sometimes you live in a place for so long that you forget about all the small beauties that exist.
Jess and Mike are getting married next December at Ski Liberty, so Jess wanted to get their session in before the holidays were over and boy were we lucky with the day we got. The first snow of the year happened the day of their shoot- all week long Jess and I were crossing our fingers it wouldn’t rain, and it snowed instead. It snowed just enough that by the evening the ground was snow kissed and downtown was empty and ready for their shoot. I had such an awesome time with this amazing couple capturing their love story. I can’t wait to see you two get married next December! Congrats love birds!
