Alex and Sean are married!! They celebrated their big day at the beautiful Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa, and I have to tell you, it was probably my favorite eastern shore wedding by far! Everything was in one location, and it was so gorgeous! The day was filled with laughter, many happy tears, and SO much love!
Alex’s dad stood up for a toast, and he shared that ever since the first day that he met Sean, he never once worried about whether or not he would take care of his little girl. He trusted him, and he could just see how much Alex loved Sean from the way they looked at one another. As I think back to the first time that I saw Alex and Sean together at their engagement session, I can say the same thing. Their love for one another is so apparent for others to see, and it’s beautiful!
Their big day was so incredibly special to them- not only because they were marrying their best friend, but also because they were about to embark on their first marriage challenge shortly after the wedding. The wedding day was a big deal because every person they loved, that supported their journey, was in that room- and they we’re cheering them on! Alex works in news broadcasting and was offered an AMAZING position that she would start shortly after their big day- the only thing was that it was in Michigan and the life her and Sean had built was in Maryland. I share this with you not to show something tough they were about to go through, but to show you how beautiful their love is- and how strong I know their marriage will be! The images captured on your big day tell a story, of course they show the beautiful details…veil, rings, dresses etc. But the most important thing they capture is the love between two people that are focused on creating a strong and lasting marriage, not just a beautiful wedding day! These two are going to have a strong and beautiful marriage, and that was apparent throughout the entire day. Their day was a really special one, definitely brought some tears to my eyes (and everyone else’s!)… I am so happy for you both and wish you all the love that a lifetime will allow! Congrats love birds!
THIS is why I LOVE first looks!! All the feels!!
