Jordan and Josh’s sweet Hampton Mansion engagement session was so much fun! We met at the mansion on a warm September day and they brought their sweet puppy, Penny! When they got engaged Jordan and Josh had been together for 11 and 1/2 years- they were high school sweethearts! So when Christmas was approaching Josh knew it was just the right time to pop the question. 3 days prior to Christmas, Josh told Jordan that he had a dinner party they needed to attend, so she would get dressed up of course! But little did she know he had actually planned their proposal! When they showed up to the so called “dinner party” a bunch of their family and friends were actually holding up signs that spelled out- Marry Me? Jordan was so surprised, but absolutely thrilled to start the next chapter of their life as an engaged couple!
I love engagement sessions, its a great time for my couples to just enjoy basking in that “newly engaged” glow! After the proposal sometimes wedding planning can feel like a whirlwind, so just to have that time to enjoy celebrating their love is the best! It also gives us time to get familiar with each other, and for me to crack a few bad jokes while deep down inside hoping they laugh (haha!). But really, I love these two and their laid back nature…I can’t wait for their big day! I can’t wait to tell the second half of their story at their wedding this coming August at Springfield Manor in Thurmont! Congrats Jordan + Josh!
