Secrets Akumal Wedding Katie + Mike

Katie and Mike’s Secrets Akumal Wedding was absolutely perfect! I don’t even know where to start with these two!! Katie and I are best friends from College; She was a bridesmaid in my wedding and I got to photograph hers!! Katie and Mike met years ago at a ‘Raging Idiots’ concert in Florida when Katie bought a Red t-shirt, and Mike happened to be the one who sold it to her. On the wedding day, she surprised Mike showing him that she had part of the T-shirt sewn into her wedding dress! Fast forward a few years later, Katie moves from Virginia to Texas to start her life with Mike and shortly after he pops the question- she says YES!

Riviera Maya MX Wedding

After Katie and Mike got engaged they immediately knew they wanted to do a destination wedding and all of their friends and family were IN! They planned the perfect November wedding at the beautiful Secrets Akumal in Riviera Maya, MX. The day was simple, focused on their love, and all about having fun with their closest friends and family. It wasn’t just one day of celebration but a trip of celebration, and it was absolutely a blast! Congratulations you two!
